Giving your child an early start in Chinese can make a big difference! When children develop an interest in the language from a young age, it significantly smooths their transition into primary school, minimizing any potential learning gaps. Students often don't realize these gaps exist until Primary 3/4, when the curriculum speeds up and reduced usage of Hanyu Pinyin 汉语拼音. At this point, an insufficient vocabulary starts to affect their ability to read, write, and speak. 

P1 to P6 (7 years old – 12 years old)

Our courses are carefully designed to seamlessly integrate with the Ministry of Education's Chinese syllabus, providing primary students with a comprehensive and engaging learning experience. 

• ACE class which covers all aspect of Primary school Chinese 

• CCW which specialise in writing, comprehension and conversation

• You can enroll ACE and CCW classes at the same time or take them individually. Depends on how much time you wish to commit and the learning ability of your child.

P1 and P2 are foundational years that continue the children's preschool education. As children get adjusted to larger classes and become more independent, they start learning Hanyu Pinyin, perfecting their motor skills in writing, and training their word recognition. Hua Cheng is here to build a strong foundation and confidence in Chinese. We will help them accumulate a powerful vocabulary and guide them toward their next steps in composition writing in P3 and eventually the PSLE exams in P6. Diligent learners will build up enough skills to express their ideas freely in Chinese and understand complex passages.
